Biomass Cogeneration
Introduction -- Brompton Cogeneration Plant -- Corner Brook Cogeneration Plant

Two of Kruger Inc.'s paper mills have biomass cogeneration plants, namely the Kruger Paper Mill in Brompton (Sherbrooke), Québec, and Corner Brook Pulp and Paper in Newfoundland-and-Labrador.

Biomass cogeneration offers several benefits in terms of environmental protection, such as dramatically reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the replacement of fossil fuels, and improving air quality.
