On May 5, 2008, Kruger Energy was selected to develop a 68-MW wind farm in Quebec's Lower Saint Lawrence region. The project, which extends over the municipalities of Sainte-Luce and Sainte-Flavie, will be carried out in the spirit of good neighbourliness, in keeping with the living environment objectives of these communities and all interested parties, and in an environmentally responsible manner. Next Steps The Company will conduct an environmental assessment in order to identifiy potential impacts and ultimately obtain all necessary environmental approvals. It will then hold formal consultations with the communities concerned. |
