On May 5, 2008, Kruger Energy was selected to develop a 100-MW wind farm in Québec's Montérégie region.

The project, which extends over the municipalities of Saint-Mathieu, Saint-Isidore, Saint-Constant, Mercier, Saint-Rémi and Saint-Michel, will be carried out in the spirit of good neighbourliness, in keeping with the environmental objectives of these communities and all interested parties, and in a responsible manner.

Next Steps

The Company will conduct an environmental assessment in order to assess the potential impacts and ultimately obtain all necessary environmental approvals.  It will then hold formal consultations with the communities concerned.
